Our Holders are made of acrylic plastic with a non-yellowing agent. The end product is two, highly durable, crystal clear pieces (cover and base) that snap together.
Our Rings are made of an inert cross linked polyethylene and serve a couple of purposes; it secures the coin in the holder, creates a barrier against air contamination and in the end presenting an attractive border to accent the coin. Color choices for the rings are black or white.
Both the holders and rings are PVC FREE and will provide superior long-term protection for your entire collection.
Air-Tite Holders are produced in six standard models A, T, H, I, X & Y with plastic foam rings to give the collector flexibility to fit any size coin, token or medallion. Since the original concept, several Direct Fit Holders have been added.
One other thing you need to know! Our product is factory-sealed directly by Air-Tite Holders, Inc. with blister packaging, not re-packed from bulk product, thrown loose in a bag, which you'll find sold by many of our coin supply dealers at a discount. The advantage of original Air-Tite Holders blister packaging is that you won't receive scratched, finger-smudged holders or rings, or product that has collected dust and moisture, which ultimately ends up on your coin surfaces.
